Welcome - Class of '65In May of 1998, Pam Whatmore and I were talking about the upcoming ( 35th ) reunion and one of us mentioned that it would be nice if we had a central meeting place for all of us to meet between reunions. I own a small domain ( earth2.net ), so I volunteered to put together this website. As I write this it is May 2000 and the site is a huge success. I constantly get e-mail from you folks telling me you have found so-and-so and you hadn't seen them since "1902" and that you really enjoy the site. I really appreciate all the compliments and I want you to enjoy the bhs65 site as much as I have enjoyed being the Webmaster.Pam and I keep in touch by e-mail and telephone pretty consistantly. She maintains the class database and does the horrific job of organizing the reunions. Any info you pass to me goes to her the same day, so please keep us informed as to your whereabouts. Enjoy People ! - Harry Kholer - UPDATE January 19, 2009
Well, in October 2008 I made a major change to my servers here and a bunch of stuff quit working. I programmed this thing in PEARL over 10 years ago and with the new updates to the language a bunch of stuff didn't work. Along with the BHS65 site were several commercial site that I host & maintain. Bottom line is the commercial accounts come first, so you folks had to wait a bit. The other problem was whether to upgrade the PEARL or upgrade to PHP and do a whole rewrite. I chose to rewrite in PHP - Commercial accounts included. So it has been a long drawn out affair.Sorry for the delay, BUT we are up and running again. The reunions area still needs some work, and I hope to get to that soon, but It has to wait for some other pressing problems to be solved. Bottom line - I'll get to it when I can. If anyone sees something that is weird or not working let me know. I'll add it to the list! Hope you and yours are doing well - Harry - |
